Meet the Founder
Shaylynn is the founder and creator of Lambda Kappa Tau Productions. At Towson University, Lambda Kappa Tau is a film production society on campus bridges the students and facility together. Using her determination and imagination, she created LKT Productions dedicated to students making feature films to showcase their talents beyond the classroom.

Who are we
- Lambda Kappa Tau Productions is a student-run production club at Towson University aimed to help get hands-on experience in the field of film and media production. Every year, we come up with multiple film ideas and vote on the best film logline. After coming up with the proposal, we bring our film idea TO LIFE!
- Our goal is to help provide experience for every student. We pride ourselves on being a collaborative environment for us to work with one another.

As young filmmakers, we aim to make films to submit into film festivals to showcase our amazing talents and filmmaking abilities.
Our Journey
LKT Productions was an idea that I always wanted to do with a group of friends with a shared love in filmmaking. The past year we produced a film by Ajuante Elemihe and I called We're Fine, a film that tackles the five stages of grieving. A heart warming story about losing someone close to you and ways of navigating that weight of guilt. After our premiere at the Thank You Film Festival, we have submitted our film into Sante Fe International Film Festival, Blackstar Film Festival, Maryland International Film Festival, Columbia Maryland Film Festival, Virgina Emerging Filmmakers Festival, and The Soul 4 Feel Film Festival.
Currently, we are in the pre-production stages of Something, Anything short film by Avery Deborde. This film about six teenagers living a normal day in their 1980's comedy sitcom life, until one day, out of nowhere, the laugh track stops. Each character becomes insane as they soon realize that their entire life is a lie. As our production dates inch closer, we locked down our talented actors, two of the three locations, and successful raised over seventy percent of our crowd funding goal. Stay tuned to our journey of becoming a well known, talented, awe-inspiring student ran film production company.
